The site is not completely finished yet, but we would love to give you a sneak peek.  www.mynbfitnesscommunity.com is the free site.  If that is not enough for you there is a paid site at www.justlikemefitness.com that is also going live very soon.  Sneak a peek and let us know what you think.

Snack On Raw Fruits and Vegetables
[/b]

It may not be as exciting as cake, cookies or ice cream, but they are better for you.  Instead of a candy bar from the snack machine at 3pm, when you start dragging, have sweet, juicy fruit instead.  Try it, you will feel more energized and move more quickly towards  your weight loss goals.

Weight Loss Tip# 44
Snack on Raw Fruits and Vegetables

Instead of a candy bar from the snack machine at 3pm when you start dragging, have some sweet, juicy fruit or try broccoli, carrots or cauliflower with low-fat dip.  Health experts want us to have five servings of fruits and vegetables a day because these foods are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins.  As an added benefit, they're much lower in calories than processed foods and mostly fat free.  If we incorporate more fruits and vegetables into our diets, we'll be healthier and thinner.  Try it and let us know what happens.

Practice hydrotherapy:

This could have been placed in the "drink lots of water" section but deserves its own section due to its efficiency. First thing in the morning, drink 32 ounces of very cold water on an empty stomach. Don't eat breakfast for at least 30 minutes. The cold water will force your body to raise its core temperature, thereby stimulating your metabolism and excreting any excess water. You may find that you lose two pounds the first month you try this. If you want to take it a step further, do the same thing at lunch. Just make sure to wait the 30 minutes prior to eating. Remember though, if you're consuming excess calories each day, this tip won't work.

Tip# 45
Load up on Fiber

Load up on fiber.  High fiber foods like whole grains and beans absorb water in your stomach, making you feel full faster and satisfied longer.  Black bean and lentil soups are good choices, as are steel-cut oats and whole wheat cereals.  Check out the high fiber breads, bagels and english muffins that are now available in many grocery stores and even the sandwich thins that are a smaller (lower calorie) version of a bun and also higher in fiber.

Have you ever heard the saying if you bite it, you write it?

Keeping a food diary — recording what you eat throughout the day — can double a person’s weight loss efforts.

When Looking For an Exercise Class-

Are you familiar with the type of class that is being offered and if you are not is the instructor willing to spend time helping you?  Are you at the fitness level necessary to perform the specific activity?  If not, this might not be the class for you as it may become frustrating
