Take The Time!

By Angela Willingham

Last weekend as I was out doing a few errands God lead me to Barnes and Noble.  I intended to go in buy a few journals and head back out.  The stop was not really part of my plan, but an add on.  After I got there I decided I was not going to pay the price they wanted but wandered to another area of the store.  Saw a woman in the aisle reading excerpts from a book by Riva Tims called "When It All Falls Apart".  I stopped to tell her I had read it and thought it was an excellent book.  It blessed me.  I ended up standing there with her for over 30 minutes.  She was going through something, an unexpected divorce.  She had no money and she had no job.  You might be asking "Why are you saying this Angela?"  I am saying this because we all have or are going through something.  God used that situation as a reminder to me that you never know when or where He will choose to use you to reach out to someone else.  Don't be in such a hurry that you miss God appointed opportunities to bless someone.  I have been called to this, but so have you.  We are real women and we need to help each other.  If my sister
is hurting I am hurting.  Our desire as a ministry is to build each other up.  A sister told me the other day that she was hurting, she was feeling devalued.  My question to her was will you allow me to help build you up again.  No more walking around with a mask on pretending like everything is okay.  It is time to be okay for real.  Time to deal with the issues and the hurts and heal.  No more masks.
Did you know that it takes more than exercise to be trully fit?  Well it does.  To be trully fit you have to know who you are and what makes you do what you do.  We encourage you to visit our website www.mynewtemple.org to check out our weekly articles and podcasts dealing with spiritual, emotional and relational fitness.  We have all been through some things and this is our opportunity to help each other to be healed and whole.

Many of us think that life is supposed to be a simple little happy go lucky time, but the truth is there are challenges.  If we begin to view them not from the negative but to try to determine what we are supposed to learn from each challenge we will find ourselves growing, maturing and becoming better women.

Please erase from my mind the thought that I am NOT good enough. Please remove from my heart that I am NOT loved enough. Please untie from my life everything that I clutch that supports the belief that I am NOT enough. Today, dear GOD, I come to you humbly and reverently asking that you untie, eliminate and erase all the NOTS that have invaded every aspect of my life.
... For your mercy and your grace I am so grateful.
Let these words take on the presence of the Holy Spirit to become living conditions in my life and the one who is reading this RIGHT NOW IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!

You can accept or reject the way you are treated by other people, but until you heal the wounds of your past, you will continue to bleed. You can bandage the bleeding with food, with alcohol, with drugs, with work, with cigarettes, with sex, but eventually, it will all ooze through and stain your life. You must find the strength to open the wounds, stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories, and make peace with them. MOVE FORWARD NOW IN JESUS NAME!! ©Kendra V.

Message from Sandra McKinley
The Book of Ruth teaches us ladies how to prepare ourselves to meet our Boaz ... in my reading one of the things I noticed was that Ruth went to work in the field ... she worked what was given to her ... doing what she had to do to take care of herself and Naomi ... wherever you are ... what ever God has given you at this time ... work it .. work to take care of yourself and those things and people you care about ... let whomever God has called to be your Boaz find you working what you already have ... God is taking care of us and if we're truly honest with ourselves we don't want for anything ... but God didn't design us to be alone ... He designed us to be loved and we will ... so wherever you find yourself right now ... work it ... and while you're working what God has given you ... believe me when I say ... your Boaz will take notice ...

The Real Woman 2013 Intro!

Ladies 2013 for New Beginnings is the year of "The Real Woman", it's not about an exercise class, but about supporting and encouraging each other and getting fit physically, spiritually, emotionally, relationally and financially. You can wrap the package to look good on the outside and still be totally jacked up on the inside. You can lose the physical weight and still be carrying the emotional ...and relational baggage. We have a few days left in 2012. Take a minute to do a real assessment of yourself, where are you, where do you want to be, not where do other people see you or want you to be, this is about you. No more emotional rollercoaster rides. No more settling for whatever comes along, because you are worth more than that. No more waiting in line to be chosen. No more eating and buying binges to make ourselves feel better. 2013 is our year. Yes, we may have issues Real Women do, but this year we are going to work it out in every area of our lives. Join us in 2013 for not just a fitness class but a fitness experience as we become all that we were created to be.
