Are You Ready For The Challenge?

The 90-Day Holistic Fitness Challenge Starts Tuesday, August 1, 2006

Love and blessings to all of you who have chosen to accept the challenge. I am excited. Remember the start date is August 1, 2006, so let's start marching it down. Yeah, I mean marching in place. Adjusting our attitudes, changing our eating habits. Yes, you are going to have to get rid of some of that junk you have been packing away, but it is all good. In the end it will be worth it, I promise.

If you do not know what I am talking about then let me tell you. For weeks we have been promoting the 90-Day Holistic Fitness Challenge. The challenge is to help us get fit in every area of our lives. We at New Beginnings have determined that any successful change must start from the inside out, so we are going to start working it out physically together, by using the message board to talk to each other about whatever is going on and to share our frustrations, concerns and successes.

If you have not already submitted your measurements, weight, sizes and an initial goal e-mail it to me at angela@mynewtemple.org. Remember to pick up a journal so you can keep track of your feelings and attitudes as we work this out. You can pick one up at the dollar store or use some note book paper. It does not matter where you write it just write it.

Oh yeah, take some before pictures of yourself. I would love to have you send them to me so we can put them on the site. Terry our Webmaster loves it when I come up with these new ideas, right Terry? We can do a before and after flash page. Tell me what you think about that.

Go to the encouragement page and check out the new forms we have set up for you. We recommend you have some accountability partners to walk through this with you. These people will be there to encourage you when you feel like giving up. There is also a chart to keep track of your measurements and the assessment so that you can find out which areas of your life require the most assistance in getting fit, physical, spiritual, relational or emotional. (Don't get scared if you find you are challenged in several areas.) We are going to work it out together under His Royal Highness' supervision.

Some of the questions that have been posed to me:

Is it okay to join some type of program while you are participating in the challenge? The answer is yes. If you want to join Weight Watchers to help you with your eating, cool. New Beginnings is about total holistic wellness from the inside out. We do not focus a lot on eating because The Master Builder/Fitness Angel believes that once you start seeing progress you will begin to change the way you eat automatically. Nobody wants to work out 5 days per week and see no progress because of bad eating habits. At least I don't. Remember to write to us on the message board and let us know how you are doing, what is working and what is not. Your successes and small victories will encourage someone else.

Can you join an exercise class or gym? Yes, if that helps motivate you to work out join yesterday.

Remember to drink your water, take care of yourself and be safe.

WARNING
To those of you that have never had to deal with The Master Builder/Fitness Angel, he is no joke and he will expect to see some progress from us. Remember to go to his topic and tell him what you need. I am tired of paying him to be cute, talk crazy to me and laugh.

Remember to invite some friends to join us. Remember thatif you do not start on the 1st you can join us any time. This is a personal challenge and the only one that is going to be helped or hurt by your participation or lack of participation is you.

If you have any questions, send an e-mail to contactus@mynewtemple.org or write a message on the message board http://www.mynewtemple.org/aMessages.html on the site. Remember we want you to participate so send us your measurements, size, weight and at least one goal so we can enter your information in the challenge.
LET’S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!
