2nd Annual Carolyn O'Neil Fitness Race

For those of you that do not know in April of 2005, this ministry team and community lost a very good friend. We encourage you to read the weekly message dated April 10, 2006, to become familiar with our sister, whom we have named this challenge after.

This years race starts on Tuesday, May 1, 2007. The rules are simple and you do not need anyone else to participate with you. This years race winner will be the person that clocks the most cardio workout hours for the month of May. This can include anything that you do that increases your cardio and is measured by the time spent in the activity.

Example: Walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator for a 5 minute workout.

If you would like to participate

At the end of the week we will post the weekly stats as well as the month to date stats.

Remember that cardio burns fat, which should result in weight loss if you are also watching what you eat.

Here are some cardio ideas:

  • Walking
  • Swimming
  • Aerobics
  • Dancing
  • Cycling
  • Rowing
  • Horseback Riding
  • Jogging
  • Running
  • Jumping Rope

These are just a few examples. Write to us on the message board and let us know some of your favorites.
